Maico Buncio (Maico Greg T. Buncio) (September 10, 1988 - May 15, 2011) is a Filipino motorcycle racer. He is one of the most successful racers in the Philippines, holding multiple national superbike and underbone category titles. Maico Buncio has also competed in several notable international races such as Asian Road Race Championship and AMA Supersport in the Unites States. After several years of success in his racing career on his Yamaha YZF-R6 Superbike, he switched to the 2011 Factory Yoshimura Suzuki GSX-R 600 Superbike and was the championship leader of the SBK class. Maico died after sustaining internal abdominal injuries in a racing accident on his GSX-R 600 superbike in the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga, Philippines.
