First edit: 29th August, 2021: A minor factual correction on the Otsu Incident
I am quite a new user, and restrict myself to slight edits and corrections, especially on less well known or sourced articles and try to fix the mess that unfrequented pages often are.
I would not pretend to be anything more than an amateur learner, but I have a devoted interest and have spent a considerable amount of time in reading and researching the following topics:
"History is indeed little more than the register of the crimes, follies, and misfortunes of mankind." -Edward Gibbon
Yet an interesting register indeed.
I am no political pundit, yet as much as I would like to claim to be a casual, unbiased observer, I do have my biases. However, I do not write or edit in anything that has not been verified by a reliable and authenticated range of multiple sources. I generally follow global political events, although I can comment on and give an inside view into South Asian politics too, but I tend to stay away due to a lack of verifiable native sources.
There is little I can write about here since most pages have already been well covered and I have little more than a shallow understanding. I mostly do reading in this topic rather than writing.
