When I first saw Wikipedia I said "Oh my gosh, it's the Encyclopedia Galactica, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and hypertext - all in one. And they want me to help". I can see that the first thing needed is verifiable citations, so, I've been trying to learn the best ways of doing that. See my notes on citations. I have now been active on Wikipedia for 17 years and 6 months.
"If they give you ruled paper, write the other way." - Juan Ramón Jiménez
"A new scientific truth does not triumph by convincing its opponents and making them see the light, but rather because its opponents eventually die, and a new generation grows up that is familiar with it." - Max Planck (1948)
Perfect example --> Done <-- ..and where did this come from? I first found it coming from the template ESp; which is not to be confused with the templates ESP and Esp. And then there are {{Done}} and {{Not Done}} which render as Done and Not done.
Another example --> | <-- which comes from {{!}} . Who would know this?
