I have held a Wikipedia account since April 2005. I did not create my first article until the following year. I have since created over 70 new articles (not counting the ones that did not eventually survive) and have contributed to a fair amount of articles in varying amounts. Editing in Wikipedia has helped tremendously with my own writing skills. It has given a great deal of appreciation on the amount of efforts put in by others as well as how much the existing content is dependendable (or at times, not).
