This is the user page of Onore Baka Sama.

Onore Baka Sama currently lives in the state of Maryland and grew up on its Eastern Shore, in Somerset County, near Kingston. Growing up completely surrounded by cornfields and wide open space, he has developed a passive interest in many simple things. Most notably of these are travelling (and he will be mostly contributing to articles relating to roads, towns, public transportation, and bicycling trails in the area) and utility poles, transmission towers, and other utilities infrastructure.

Current tasks[edit]

Major tasks[edit]

Crisfield, Maryland expansion
go here: Crisfield, Maryland
Goal To get the Crisfield, Maryland article up to B or GA class This is the city that most of my life is centered around. As a tourist destination, and one of the fastest-growing cities on the Delmarva Peninsula in the very early 1900s, one would expect more coverage of this city, more pictures, or easier access to information on it. So, I am taking it upon myself to build this article up from the base demographic and geographic information it once was.

Major issues with article:

  • Need more sources for the History section. My biggest request is for 20th century history, mostly pertaining to the decline of Crisfield, reasons for said decline, integration, among other things.
  • More sources on Crisfield's government. I'm finding it a bit difficult to find stuff.
  • More sources for Crisfield's festivals, namely the Hard Crab Derby. Several questions need to be answered with them. What was the motivation behind creating these events? Whose idea was it? What can be expected at the events? How much do the events impact Crisfield's economy and culture? How well known are the events outside of the city? Honestly, there should be enough information on the Crab Derby ALONE out there to make its own article out of it, but only one of the two books I used as sources currently have sufficient information on it.

Also, I was informed by the reviewer that the Culture section (at the time) was the one that needed the most attention, but with sourcing, in order to become B-class. That is one of my main focuses now.

Current status C-class.

    The Photographer's Barnstar
Great picture of bus route #6. I especially appreciate this one. It is a hard one to get because of #6's limited hours of service. I probably could never have gotten it myself easily because I don't live near the line or frequent any parts of it. Also, great pictures of subway stations!
