i am a language geek. you may be wondering how come i have no native language listed. fact of the matter is, i've been so immersed in two other languages, as well as distant enough from the language with which i was raised, that it feels more "right" to put all three on the same level.

i have a basic vocabulary in a small cactusload of other languages, but it'd look terribly pretentious if i included them all in the babel box, so i am just gonna list them here: ja, ro, ru, sv, sw, sgn (asl).
