I have over seven years of experience on on Wikipedia. My major interests may be found to the right. This user page will be updated periodically. When interacting with this user, please try to understand that jumping to conclusions due to an initial misunderstanding will just result in more confusion. I can't help you fix whatever the problem is If I'm chastised about not conceptualizing properly what you believe the problem is. I promise you my brain doesn't work that way.
There are three major things about myself that did not warrant a userbox, but still (I feel) require an explanation.
FIRST
I was born with the inborn error of metabolism PKU. This User started a treatment of Palynziq on July 16, 2019; in April 2020 this medication was increased from 20mg to 40mg per day and my protein intake was increased as well. In August 2020 my blood phenylalanine level dropped to ~200mg/umol for the first time in my life. This means that, thanks to gene therapy, PKU now has a negligible to relatively nonexistent affect on my nervous system and available mental capacity. Outside of Wikipedia, read as Wikimedia Foundation and it's projects, this user has faced considerable genetic discrimination. The ideal range for mental stability is 120mg/umol-300mg/umol with this condition. The last blood phe level was collected on 5/13/2024; it was in range. The next levels will be 6/13 and 8/01; a simple update will likely be added to reflect this user's ongoing and continued success. This user's limited medical data proofs can be provided via email.
SECOND
Aside from my veteran based ancestry, my genealogy descends from Huguenots , who were driven out of France due to the religious persecution policies of Louis XIV. From there, they immigrated to England, and of course, the New World after that. This was generations ago, and I have no personally negative feelings to the French people as a nation, but I am aware of the family history. I understand that this can generate an Implicit Bias which I myself am not able to recognize. I blanket recuse myself from any and all articles related to France or the French people as a nation.
THIRD
On January 9, 2018 I proudly became a father for the first time. The changes to my worldview and lifestyle from this event may affect editing style. This user is under a review period of levetiracetam; the user is under a preliminary diagnosis while a licensed Neurologist determines next steps. This may or may not effect the user, and nothing is complete or confirmed at this time. I have been diagnosed with "episodic headache" specifically; I'm currently on 500mg daily of the aforementioned medication. The review is ongoing, but I don't have epilepsy or classic seizures.
