I retired in 2015 from a career in computer security (edu). I now have taken a more active interest in editing and discussions of controversial pages (where I seldom edit.)
My pseudonym comes from a longstanding blogging career of media criticism. One of the first articles I ever wrote was about an AP story regarding a meteorite impacting in Washington (state). I pointed out problems with the story, including the fact that the professor cited in the article did not exist. AP eventually pulled the article when it became apparent that it was a hoax. (I doubt they even knew about my critique of their story.)
