Tyreseus (a spelling variation of Tiresias from greek mythology} is the pseudonymorscreen name of Jere Keys. a.k.a. Jeremiah Keys.

Tyreseus is the oldest of nine children. He was raised MormoninUtah until his family moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1992. Tyreseus went to college at the University of Nevada, Reno, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Theatre and minoring in English: Dramatic Literature.

Soon after college, Tyreseus began working for the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada as the director of the youth program. He moved on to work with Equal Rights Nevada on the ill-fated 2000 campaign against Question #2 (amending the state constitution to forbid gay marriage).

Tyreseus began working with Stonewall Publishing, Inc. on their monthly tabloid Out Las Vegas. From 2000 through 2004, Tyreseus rose from freelance writer to art director and finally editor of the company, whose projects evolved from Out Las VegastoOut Las Vegas Bugle and ultimately QVegas.

In 2004, Tyreseus moved to Salt Lake City, UT where he became the editor of Salt Lake Metro. After a year, he moved on to work as Publications Manager for the Sundance Film Festival. Recently, he was the coordinator for the Utah Pride Festival.

He moved to San Francisco, CA in June, 2006, and recently accepted a position as Communications Manager for Out & Equal

Tyreseus has many varied credentials, including diversity training experience with the National Conference for Community and Justice in their Camp Anytown program and an Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America. He has served on the board of directors or in other key roles for several nonprofit organizations including Southern Nevada Association of Pride, Inc., the Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgender Community Center of Utah, and the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans Rainbow Flame chapter.
