I am an active volunteer editor since December 2006, as well as an avid student of History, Anthropology and Language. My contributions around here have covered a wide range of topics, but often focus on heraldry , medieval history, and some of the places I have been. I enjoy traveling and have visited 45 U.S. states , as well as Japan , Korea , Mexico , Canada , Iceland , Sweden , and (briefly) Finland .
I am also a member of the SCA (since A.S. XXX), where I participate in Arts and Sciences events and armored combat , and I study Heraldry , Tafl games , and other historical board games . I enjoy listening to a broad range of music , especially Opeth , Amon Amarth , Sigur Rós , Nine Inch Nails , and too many others to list here.
