September 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Chakra, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 09:23, 27 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello 107.219.74.182, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to History of Andhra Pradesh have been removed, as they appear to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.

YOU ARE LYING.. THERE IS NO COPYRIGHT VIOLATION. SHOW ME WHAT COPYRIGHT YOU TALK OF AND STOP REMOVING CONTENT TO ASSERT BRAHMIN HEGEMONY

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Doug Weller talk 13:46, 18 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019[edit]

I do understand the policy and see that Brahmanical narrative is being imposed in the name of editorial rights Hello, I'm Donner60. Your recent edit to Kanva dynasty appears to have added incorrect information, so I removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Donner60 (talk) 04:10, 8 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You mean to say my disputing the assertion that Kanva was Brahmin based on myths? Why would one source be more accurate than others in Myths. There is no inscription of Kanva as Brahmin caste. There are multiple tales/myths.. so creating antiquity of Brahmin system and caste and removing citations which dispute it is an exercise in caste perpetuation. Please explain your reasons for stating what I put in is incorrect and what is currently there as correct. Is there any evidence that one myth is more accurate than other ? No. It is basically what you want to believe and broadcast

April 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Utcursch. I noticed that you recently removed content from Andhra Ikshvaku without adequately explaining why. If you're making claims that the information given in the cited sources is "unsubstantiated" or "debated", you need to provide reliable sources that support such claims. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. utcursch | talk 12:20, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add original researchornovel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Ikshvaku dynasty. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. utcursch | talk 21:34, 16 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Why would you call it Ikshvaku when the Inscriptions clearly state it is Ikhakhu. Is that not vandalism of the history of Andhra?? You are the one who is making unsubstantiated claims based on mythical puranas which have multiple narrative. Inscriptions are clear as per archaeological record. Remove Ikshvaku. It is an insult on our history

May 2019[edit]

Information icon Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Kamma (caste). Such edits are disruptive, and may appear to other editors to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Diff: [1] Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:58, 1 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What is legitimate talk? Can you define it.. Kamma is a caste which is pretty recent. Do not bring your caste mindset to wikipedia. Cast is form of illegitimate mindset. Clean your mind — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.219.74.182 (talk) 23:03, 14 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Firstly, you are are responding to a warning from May 2019. Secondly, the issue raised was this edit, in which another editor's comment was refactored by someone at this IP address. This is not allowed, for what should be obvious reasons, and it has nothing to do with the argument about caste. "Legitimate talk" is not the matter to be concerned with, because it's two random words taken out of context. "Do not change another editor's comment" is the important part. Understand now? ARBIPA sanctions alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic. I am Indian and of course I will show interest in the topic that concerns me. By claiming arbitrary editor status you cannot impose sanctions like an imperial force. Keep wiki free of your caste mindset

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Kautilya3 (talk) 07:11, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration for what? Please go to google books and do a basic search on Ikhaku

May 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributionstoWikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Delhi Sultanate. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 07:14, 2 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

This is for persistently making changes that are directly contradicted and/or unsupported by the cited sources. utcursch | talk 21:25, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I Have NOT MADE PERSISTENT UNSUPPORTED CLAIMS. THAT IS YOUR BIAS. I challenge you to go look at the archaeology association of INDIA decipherment of IKKAKU. IKSHVAKU IS SANSKRIT NOT THAT IT IS A PROBLEM BUT REMOVING THE PALI VERSION WHICH IS THE ACTUAL QUOTED IN THE INSCRIPTION TO ATTACH PURANIC MYTHS IS NOT GOOD. THE USE OF THE WORD PERSISTENT TO SLANDER IS YOUR EGO AND DISDAIN FOR TRUTH

Once again, you are indulging in original research. For example, here you added the claim that "The Banyan tree stands for enlightenment of Budha", citing India Through the Ages as a source. The source does not even mention this particular banyan tree; it only talks about the Bodhi Tree. In the same edit you cited an India Today article, using it as a source for the statement "Traditionally the Bodhi tree stood for wisdom of Buddha and is revered for it." The article does not mention Bodhi tree or Buddha at all.
You're free to challenge existing unsourced / poorly-sourced content in an article, but please do not replace it with dubiously-sourced stuff. utcursch | talk 01:46, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

W

Really Utkarsh? Come one- that Banyan tree is Marri. That Banyan tree is sacred to the Buddhists. After attaining enlightenment, Lord Buddha is believed to have sat under a Banyan tree for seven days. This known world over. But for you this is poorly sourced content. Here is link on Importance of Banyan tree. Please do not remove things just because they are contradictory to Brahmin spun narratives https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/nagpur/Significance-of-the-Banyan/articleshow/8856719.cms . You have blocked me for correcting Ikshvaku to Ikhaku-the name used in inscriptions. You have problem with me defining IKHAKHU name as per Telugu dictionary-they are Telugu king-would you rather I use French dictonary or Latin?. You have problem with stating the obvious that Banyan tree has significance for Buddhist. So stop blocking and unblock your own mind — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.219.74.182 (talkcontribs)

I did not block you for claiming that Banyan tree is sacred to Buddhists or "correcting Ikshvaku to Ikhaku". I blocked you for citing sources that do not support the claims you are adding to the articles. Once again, please see WP:V, WP:RS, and WP:NOR -- if you haven't gone through WP:TUTORIAL, please do so. utcursch | talk 14:50, 6 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Really? The archaeological survey of Indian clearly states IKhaku was mentioned in inscriptions. If you chose you could have corrected the citation. But instead you chose to obsess on things that contradict your own Brahmanical bent of mind. I wish wiki had a policy where editors would first post their caste and then edit. I am sudra and the Brahmin narratives and usage of Brahmin and racist sources that back Brahmin thesis to create a narrative is offensive to me. I will dispute when it comes to my history. You dont have sole ownership claiming to be an editor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.219.74.182 (talkcontribs)

I would have "corrected the citation", if you had actually provided a citation. You didn't, despite the fact that you have already been told about Help:Referencing for beginners and Wikipedia:Reliable sources above.
Here are your three edits to the article Andhra Ikshvaku: [2][3][4] - the only changes you made involved removal of sourced content. You did not add any ASI report / article as a source. Your Buddhism-Banyan edits have already been explained above.
Ifscholarly sources in an article are "offensive" to you, please find other reliable sources that say so. Your personal opinions do not matter: if we allow that, any random person on the Internet can remove sourced content claiming that the sources are "offensive" to them.
I don't subscribe to the caste system, but for what it's worth: both my parents come from a caste that is classified among the Scheduled Castes in some areas, and among the Other Backward Classes in other areas. So, you can stop playing victim. Blatantly violating Wikipedia policies and then insinuating that you were blocked / warned for being a non-Brahmin won't work. Once again, go through WP:TUTORIAL, if you haven't already. utcursch | talk 17:36, 6 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

September 2019[edit]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you remove reliably-sourced content from Wikipedia again, as you did at Nagarjuna and Gautamiputra Satakarni, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. You have already been given several warnings regarding Wikipedia's no original research and verifiability policies. You can't simply dismiss scholarly books written by reputed academics and published by solid publishers (including non-Indian universities) as unreliable, simply because you don't agree with them. If you want to portray these sources as unreliable, please present some other sources which support your assertion: your personal opinion doesn't count. utcursch | talk 14:44, 6 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What is reliable and Scholarly? Tons of "scholarly" materials claimed white Aryan supremacy. The book birth of orientalis by PENN STATE UNIVERSITY " Modern Orientalism is not a brainchild of nineteenth-century European imperialists and colonialists, but, as Urs App demonstrates, was born in the eighteenth century after a very long gestation period defined less by economic or political motives than by religious ideology". The brahmin wiki editors are no different than the Europeans who confused BRAMANA, Brahmin caste and Brahma. Scholar and Reputed are misused and abused given the caste and race content in the academic world. So let us talk primary sources. Including definition of words. Are we defining it by location of dynasty with Dravidian Munda reference to Sanskrit words? Or is this based on the Nazi era and Brahmin claims of Sanskrit being a spoken language of white european class? How do you define the word Marri. Marri in Telugu is Banyan tree. Banyan tree is where Budha is considered to have englighment. That is a metaphor. So let us talk specifics instead of appeal to authority of the very same authors who have created racist casteist baises
If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please see WP:RS. If you have concerns about a particular source not being reliable, drop a note at WP:RSN. If you continue to engage in disruptive behavior, you will be blocked for a long time. utcursch | talk 14:28, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
