Welcome![edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

Note that in order for the first three features to be available, you must have had an account for a certain number of days and made a certain number of edits.

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (70.228.83.104) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Happy editing! Aspening (talk) 03:33, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit to Whitney Rydbeck[edit]

Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions. Thank you! PATH SLOPU 09:55, 29 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

July 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CLCStudent. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Mindscape (film) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the help desk. Thanks. CLCStudent (talk) 15:42, 31 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Welcome[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed that you've been adding commas to Iron Man 2 and I wanted to thank you for your efforts. If you ever need help with editing, feel free to ask at the Teahouse, a friendly place for new editors to Wikipedia. Clovermoss (talk) 22:48, 19 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Friend Request[edit]

Information icon Hello. In a recent edit to the page Friend Request , you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 13:43, 4 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A reminder about national varieties of english[edit]

Hi. I noticed that you make a lot of formatting edits to move the quotation mark outside of the period. I see you've been warned about similar edits above. Please don't unnecessarily change the national variety of english used on a page without getting some sort of consensus first, per MOS:ENGVAR. Thanks and happy editing! Darthkayak (talk) 01:05, 27 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

June 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Tron: Legacy, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Your edits introduced grammatical errors and other issues. Please be more careful. DonIago (talk) 13:03, 11 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

July 2021[edit]

Information icon Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Sarah Michelle Gellar. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. See MOS:LQ and follow it even if you disagree with it Geraldo Perez (talk) 22:14, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Sarah Michelle Gellar, you may be blocked from editing. Refusing to follow the manual of style after being told about it is disruptive. Doesn't matter if you don't like it, follow it. Geraldo Perez (talk) 22:15, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
