April 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm TheDragonFire300. I noticed that you recently removed content from Uzbek Ground Forces without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Regards, User:TheDragonFire300. (Contact me | Contributions). 13:06, 9 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to SA80, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Madagascar People's Armed Forces, you may be blocked from editing. You MUST provide reliable sources when you add new items or delete items that are already sourced.Nigel Ish (talk) 20:20, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Do you want me to provide sources?
I took information from Wikipedia, I did not take information from any other places.
And I have to account for the fact that I removed equipment from the article that was already written off by this country 20 years ago? (Despite the fact that this is exactly what is written on the main page of this weapon) 93.73.166.152 (talk) 20:30, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia pages are not reliable sources - they should not be used as sources for changes to other pages. If the equipment has been out of service for 20 years, then you should be able to find a Reliable Source that backs that up - and reliable sources has a specific meaning on Wikipedia - read Wikipedia:Reliable sources.Nigel Ish (talk) 15:19, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you give an example of these very "reliable sources"?
Or on the page there is an BTR-50 that was not in service with Madagascar, and besides, it has a country Russia that did not release this armored personnel carrier, and I did not find a single source to prove it is there. Well, for some reason you didn’t remove it from there . 93.73.166.152 (talk) 12:03, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you don't have the sources then you shouldn't change the page - changes are worthless without sourcing.Nigel Ish (talk) 16:21, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You didn't answer my question 93.73.166.152 (talk) 09:36, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

May 2023[edit]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you blank out or remove content from Wikipedia, as you did with this edittoList of equipment of the Indonesian Army. Materialscientist (talk) 08:34, 1 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
