Hi Antonio B.1234! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at 2022 Florida gubernatorial election that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. I was not experimenting, the source cited NEVER quoted Govenor McMaster saying he would impose a ban if the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Obergefell v. Hodges.
Instead, the source cited Govenor McMaster stating, “In our constitution, [gay marriage] it is not allowed, and under our state law, it is not allowed. I would follow state law, whatever state law is,” Mr. McMaster said. “Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but I think a marriage ought to be between a man and a woman.”
South Carolina never legalized same-sex marriage therefore if Obergefell v. Hodges were overturned, the ban would be automatic.
Please take your time before undoing changes to review sources and make sure they are accurate.
Unless you see something I don't please refrain from undoing my changes in the future. I will be undoing your change in efforts to make sure all information on Wikipedia is factual. Thank You. Antonio B.1234 (talk) 00:50, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Let’s break this down, "I would follow state law.” Somehow equates to: “I’ll ban same-sex marriage if the Supreme Court overruns the case” that’s interesting logic. Antonio B.1234 (talk) 00:27, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop with your disruptive editing as you did on Henry McMaster. I've added additional sources to sooth your confusion. Please read sources before deleting entire passages, or add additional sources to support the content. Dr. Blazer (talk) 20:01, 20 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
