Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You've been warned by different editors, but you haven't stopped adding inappropriate external links, you haven't discussed this, and in several cases you've gone back and replaced links that were removed. As these are the only edits you've made, i.e. this account is being used only for promotional purposes, it seems reasonable to block it indefinitely in accordance with our blocking policy. I apologize for not responding to previous inquiries with regards to the external link postings as I am rather new to the Wikipedia editing concept and was unaware of their existence. Artist Arena is a limited liability company that specializes in Fan Club/Ticketing services and can be researched upon through our official website: http://www.artistarena.com. We have signed contracts with various bands and their management, such as 3 Doors Down, Kid Rock, and Green Day, just to name a few, that accord us the rights to create an official fan club and maintain promotional rights thereafter. By posting external links to the fan club sites, we are providing the means for those individuals interested to become involved in the intimate fan community which we offer, not just acting on our contractual right to publicize and endorse. Feel free to message back and I'm hoping that from here on out I will be able to add the necessary links without further interruption. Thank you for your time.
Yes I'm aware of the previous instances and have apologized for that as I am not the only one who has tried to post an external link the past. The issue is while we can be considered a business, we are ultimately attempting to post OFFICIAL sites for the band which we have full permission to do by the band's management. Members can log onto our site and read unbiased information and news, communicate with other members throughout our server, and have access to digital media they normally would not have access to. My question is are you claiming that the only reason Artist Arena can't post an external link is because we charge our members a fee for such unbiased information priviledges, and thus can be confused as attempting to solicit?
