Talk to me...

Mysteries...[edit]

Re your edit here [1], see WP:COIN#Mystery Method. I think there's something very peculiar going on. Love Systems is a rebadged form of an older company, Mystery Method Corporation, and there's altogether too much SPA activity relating to both. Gordonofcartoon (talk) 02:39, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I edited the WP:COIN#Mystery Method page, but I'm pretty new to the WP community, so what is the likely course of action of such offense? Benjamin Dominic (talk) 06:02, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It depends. COI isn't an offense (in the sense of breach of a policy) in itself; WP:COIN's main purpose is as a handle on identifying articles/users where such a relationship causes an ongoing breach of WP:NPOV. First thing is to wait and see if any others alerted by the WP:COIN discussion find any problems of that sort.
My main impression at this instant is that Love Systems and Nick Savoy are largely duplicate material. He has no notability outside the context of Love Systems and would be sufficiently covered with a brief paragraph in that article. Gordonofcartoon (talk) 10:34, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, and that is something that I have believed to be the case for a few weeks now, but Coaster7 won't let me make any significant changes that would result as such. So has it been propsed that the material be merged?Benjamin Dominic (talk) 18:46, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Also, I have some reason to believe that User:Camera123456 and User:Coaster7 are in some combination of sockpuppetry. Look at the contributions of the two (Coaster contribs and Camera contribs) and note the similarity of the time of the edits and the pages to which content was added, especially Talk:Mystery Method on 5 February. Something strange is definitely going on here.Benjamin Dominic (talk) 09:02, 6 February 2009 (UTC)--This was to be added to this section, not "Archiving". This may no longer be relevenat to the current discussion.[reply]

Archiving[edit]

Ben, just so you know you, as far as I can tell you didn't actually archive your talk page. To see how to do that check out this WP entry. Erasing your talk page is frowned upon. Electiontechnology (talk) 03:20, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Electiontechnology. I realized that a couple days ago that I didn't actually save my Archive page, but it's there now if you wanted to look at it. Thanks for the heads up. Benjamin Dominic (talk) 05:49, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
