Welcome!

Hello, Blue Moses, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!--Mishae (talk) 03:42, 2 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Odssf.com as a source[edit]

Hi Blue Moses. I noticed that you recently used odssf.com as a source for information in a biography article, Lauren Jackson. Please note that the general consensus as expressed at WP:RSN is that odssf.com does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for the inclusion of personal information in such articles. Marriedbiography.com appears similarly poor as a source. If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks.--Ronz (talk) 01:52, 20 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your submission at Articles for creation: Tony Rinaudo (July 27)[edit]

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Missvain were:
The comment the reviewer left was:

We need *significant* in-depth objective coverage (that is independent of the subject - meaning no promotional pieces, government websites, university/company websites, event websites, social media, press releases, paid coverage) in notable major media outlets or by notable publishers about Tony Rinaudo.

Examples include: magazine and newspaper reviews and features about Tony Rinaudo specifically; books or peer-reviewed white papers written ABOUT Tony Rinaudo and radio features ABOUT Tony Rinaudo.

Frankly, if the subject isn’t passing WP:NAUTHOR they may not be eligible for an encyclopedic article.

Also see WP:RS for additional guidance on what reliable secondary sources are.

If those are available, please improve this submission. If not, then it might not be the right time (WP:TOOSOON) for Tony Rinaudo to have a Wikipedia article.

I hope you will consider improving existing Wikipedia content about other subjects of interest!

If you have any questions please ask them at WP:TEAHOUSE.

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia! Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
Missvain (talk) 19:43, 27 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the feedback. I had inadvertently left out a section on Rinaudo's achievements present in an earlier draft. This is now reinstated.
In view of your advice, I have added more details and included references to:
  • articles about Rinaudo by 2 national media organisations (Deutsche Welle and Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
  • independent radio interview (Hope 103.2)
  • a documentary about Rinaudo by Oscar and Palme d'Or winner Volker Schlöndorff
  • independent book reviews on 2 church media sites
  • article in Melbourne Age
You commented that awarding an Order of Australia not sufficient on its own. However, with winning the three other independent prestigious awards contribute to his notability? Blue Moses (talk) 22:10, 28 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
