adding UK when England already included.

Hi, Can I ask why it is necessary to add "United Kingdom" to Farleigh House when the article already said "in the English county of Somerset". I thought that England was a well known country & the sentence included gave enough context?— Rod talk 18:12, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

England isn't a state though is it? I think a state is the most important aspect of informing readers of wikipedia where the house actually lies, do you not agree? I am adding Uk to quite a few articles at the moment as all articles contain state except a lot of England related ones...--Camaeron

I will put your suggestion to the editors on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject UK geography. Give me a few minutes and then perhaps you would be kind enough to add a comment explaining your rationale. If accepted then this active bunch could assist in adding it to many articles (not just houses) where the article says England but not UK.— Rod talk 18:28, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

Thank you soo much! I have been of this opinion for ages but have never known who to turn to! --Camaeron

Userboxes

WP:UBX contains a list of subjects a the bottom. Take your pick from there :) And no problem on the London thing, it was silly for it not to be there. -MichiganCharms (talk) 21:32, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing London on the UK page! I have a rather silly question: Where do you get those cool signs you have on your user page (eg This user is an anglophile...etc)? Everybody has them but where do they get them from? Thanks! --Camaeron (talk) 21:30, 28 February 2008 (UTC) Cool thanks...now I cant find any I like..hahaha...! --Camaeron

RE: Thanks

You're welcome, the timing was complete fluke. It took be ages to work out what was wrong with the thing! :D SGGH speak! 17:08, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Wow that was quick! I only just created the page "The Most High, Noble and Potent Prince" and ten secs later I realised I had cocked it up and went back to do it only to discover you had already done it, thanks! You are on the ball, big time! --Camaeron

Your request for adminship

Hello Camaeron, I have closed your request for adminship, for at a tally of 2/12/0, it had no chance of passing. I hope that you will listen and take the advice your opposition gave you (especially the long and well-thought out advice from Dlohcierekim provided you with), and will try again in a few months. Don't be discouraged though: some of our best admins did not pass their first RfA either. Good luck. Acalamari 21:43, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Your RfA

I have asked you a question in the 'Discussion' section of your RfA. EJF (talk) 18:28, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 14:26, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Laird (disambiguation), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Laird. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 14:54, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
