Hi, welcome, and thanks for the note! Aside from a regular google search, I can't think of a really good way to get that reference, but here are my mediocre ideas: tag the statement with {{cn}} wich will give a little citation needed tag, and hopefully someone will come along and provide the citation. Though you shouldn't hold your breath. Also, leave a note on the article's talk page asking for the citation and explaining your need for one, or I can if you'd prefer me to. Third, if you feel like trawling through the page's history, you can actually compare new and old revisions and narrow it down until you figure out who put in the statement. If it wasn't that long ago (the date of each revision is shown), you can leave a note on their talk page asking them where they got the info. Hopefully they'll remember. Unfortunately, it may be an example of someone just providing their opinion or their vague belief, which of course we're not supposed to do, but which does happen. I'd kind of think that if you can't find the info elsewhere that you shouldn't trust it (though I hope I'm not being too disloyal to Wikipedia by saying so!). Anyway, I don't recall having edited Information industry and I don't know anything about it, but I'm glad to help however you need. Peace, delldot talk 17:51, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
