Hi Capoeirista —

I like the idea for the article. However, I wonder if it might not be a good idea to merge it with Capoeira music, which is an article that really needs a work-over anyway? It might be good to see the songs and the toques together and how they influence play. Either way, if you're wanting to have a selection of sounds, here's one already: Toque-de-angola.ogg. If you've got a berimbau, feel free to add more! (I have one, but no way to record at the moment). — Asbestos | Talk (RFC) 03:09, 4 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I was going to put it in Capoeira music, but it, combined with all the songs, became unwieldy. I’m new here, but I think I read somewhere that style conventions favor multiple entries – read horizontally rather than vertically. (trying the four tilde thing now, thanks for the tip) Coalhada 18:24, 5 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of Capoeira toques

[edit]

An editor has nominated Capoeira toques, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Capoeira toques and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 21:29, 14 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
