In your edits2021 storming of the United States Capitol: Why did you add so many non-breaking spaces to the article? Did you realize you were doing that? Some of the other changes don't really follow our Manual of Style (WP:MOS), such as where you put the periods relative to quotations (e.g."[e]very panic button in my office had been torn out the whole unit". you changed to "[e]very panic button in my office had been torn out the whole unit.") or changing "11 homemade bombs" to "eleven homemade bombs". I reverted quite a few edits that did not make sense to me such as the addition of non-breaking spaces, but I didn't revert all of your edits entirely since some of them were improvements. --David Tornheim (talk) 08:57, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Five years is 5years, regardless how you say or spell or paraphrase or quote it – until years gets broken off that two-word concept onto the next line. (Words slip right past your consciousness; single digits, especially on either margin, not so much.) Similarly, an ellipsis should either drag the preceeding word with it or be dragged by adjacent punctuation. seealso --Darmoc (talk) 10:14, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
