Hi Elizzaflanagan221, in this edit to the Omegle article, you changed Tor Brookes’ alias “Philip Hedley” into his real name. However, a bit further down, the same paragraph refers to that alias, which no longer makes sense: “identified Hedley as Tor Gustafsson Brookes”. I would reword the paragraph myself, but the article is semi-protected now. Could you fix it?
AnAustralian white supremacist and former YouTuber named Tor Brookes (who used the alias Philip Hedley on Omegle, but is more generally known as "CatboyKami") popularised the site
Or even more like the old version, because his real name and outing are still mentioned anyway:
AnAustralian white supremacist and former YouTuber going by the alias Philip Hedley (later identified as Tor Brookes a.k.a. "CatboyKami") popularised the site
Cheers!

Congratulations, and thank you for helping expand the scope of Wikipedia! We hope you will continue making quality contributions.
The article has been assessed as C-Class, which is recorded on its talk page. This is a great rating for a new article, and places it among the top 20% of accepted submissions — kudos to you! You may like to take a look at the grading scheme to see how you can improve the article.
If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask at the help desk. Once you have made at least 10 edits and had an account for at least four days, you will have the option to create articles yourself without posting a request to Articles for creation.
If you would like to help us improve this process, please consider leaving us some feedback.
Thanks again, and happy editing!
Robert McClenon (talk) 19:27, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Draft:Adam Lanza. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Please find the report here, which shows the plagiarised articles and the sources: https://api.ithenticate.com/en_us/dv/20220511?lang=en_us&o=103830074 MrBauer24 (talk) 04:23, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Deaths in 2023, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Renewal6 (talk) 14:19, 25 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, Elizzaflanagan221! Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! Justiyaya 07:03, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply] |
Hi Elizzaflanagan221! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Also, I disagree with your adding of Columbine copycats as it is unsourced, yet I can't revert it right now as I have met WP:3RR. Aaron Liu (talk) 01:09, 6 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I'm Roger 8 Roger. An edit that you recently made to Christchurch mosque shootings seemed to be a test and has been reverted. If you want to practice editing, please use your sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please think before changing an article. Reading your changes before submission can also be helpful. Roger 8 Roger (talk) 06:20, 9 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please do not attack other editors. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Acroterion (talk) 03:10, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. I saw on the Elliot Rodger talkpage that you believe he should have an article. I believe he should too and created a draft and want to get your opinion on it. Do you think it is any good? Shoot for the Stars (talk) 06:52, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
