Welcome![edit]

Hello, Faxmax23, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially your edits to University of Missouri. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

  • Contributing to Wikipedia
  • The five pillars of Wikipedia
  • How to edit a page and How to develop articles
  • How to create your first article
  • Simplified Manual of Style
  • You may also want to complete the Wikipedia Adventure, an interactive tour that will help you learn the basics of editing Wikipedia. You can visit the Teahouse to ask questions or seek help.

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. Again, welcome! Also, I’ve been considering creating a North Village Arts District page. You seem to know something about it. Grey Wanderer (talk) 03:41, 13 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

    Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Faxmax23! Your additions to University of Missouri have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 04:13, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

    December 2023[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to University of Missouri, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Hi there. You've been just doing whatever you want, huh? That I've seen, you've never interacted with anybody else, or replied to anybody on your talk page. You falsely marked your last edit as 'minor', which means that you changed no meaning, but you actually changed a whole number. That's not what minor means, and is forbidden. Also. You can't change cited facts without replacing the source or updating its access-date to show that you did read and prove it from the source.Smuckola(talk) 09:00, 30 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
