Hello Greenman! About one month ago I invested a lot of time to add substantial content, references, sources etc. to this article, following your feedback.
Alternative Alternatives are a concept that is increasingly becoming more relevant.
I hope that someone who is well versed in Finance and Investment is taking a look and can approve the article or give feedback!
    Thank you!

    Strongly disagree!
Alternative Alternative is NOT a Neologism but a financial term used in the industry for almost twenty years.
See this 2007 article from JASSA, the finsia journal of applied finance issue 3 2007 https://investucatett.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Alternative_Investments-for-individual-Investors.pdf):
"..other stranger alternative ‘alternatives’ for superannuation funds would include works of art, antiques, stamp collections and even taxi licence".
or here in The Hedge Fund Journal (https://thehedgefundjournal.com/q-a-melissa-hill-ceo-sabre-fund-management/), originally published in the December 2006/January 2007 issue with investment veteran Melissa Hill explaining that "portable alpha overlay programmes and the structured product market are growing as institutions look for alternative alternatives."
We are now in 2023 and googling
    "alternative alternatives" finance
    yield 29,400 hits!
    https://www.google.com/search?q=%22alternative+alternatives%22+finance&client=firefox-b-d&biw=1424&bih=684&ei=y2a6ZLvoA5Woxc8PhdiosA8&ved=0ahUKEwj7-f-X1J-AAxUVVPEDHQUsCvYQ4dUDCA4&uact=5&oq=%22alternative+alternatives%22+finance
I repeat my request, this time with an ounce of criticism, that someone who is well versed in Finance and Investment is taking a look at this article. Francoise99x (talk) 11:10, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

you are wrong. PLEASE PLEASE can someone who has an investment background assess the article. Alternative Alternatives are not a neologism. Blessing's book is from 2011! All sources cited are published, independent, reliable professional and encyclopedic. Show me what not and don't press a 'delete' or 'reject' button the Wikipedia uber Gods seems to have. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Alternative Alternatives requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://partners-cap.com/investments/asset-classes/uncorrelated-alternatives/, https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/should-you-invest-alternative-alternatives-shelly-hod-moyal, and https://www.investopedia.com/terms/l/life_settlement.asp. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nominationbyvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copyright problem: Draft:Alternative Alternatives[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Francoise99x! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as Draft:Alternative Alternatives, but we regretfully cannot accept copyrighted material from other websites or printed works. This article appears to contain work copied from https://partners-cap.com/investments/asset-classes/uncorrelated-alternatives/ https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/should-you-invest-alternative-alternatives-shelly-hod-moyal https://www.fool.com/investing/stock-market/market-sectors/communication/media-stocks/art-investment/ https://il.linkedin.com/company/givven-net https://www.investopedia.com/terms/l/life_settlement.asp, and therefore to constitute a violation of Wikipedia's copyright policies. The copyrighted text has been or will soon be deleted. While we appreciate your contributions, copying content from other websites is unlawful and against Wikipedia's copyright policy. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators are likely to lose their editing privileges.

If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under license allowed by Wikipedia, then you should do one of the following:

It may also be necessary for the text to be modified to have an encyclopedic tone and to follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

See Wikipedia:Declaration of consent for all enquiries for a template of the permissions letter the copyright holder is expected to send.

Otherwise, you may rewrite this article from scratch. If you would like to begin working on a new version of the article you may do so at this temporary page. Leave a note at Draft talk:Alternative Alternatives saying you have done so and an administrator will move the new article into place once the issue is resolved.
