@GeogieTax: You should probably discuss that with other users on the talk page of the article. I don't know anything about that topic; I'm not sure why you chose me to ask about it. Geniac (talk) 06:53, 14 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I know Lubna Salim personally and I work for her theatre company. Hence I am working on adding more information on her page, hence I am adding information like date of birth and photograph and articles reference.
I am adding her birthday again, please do not remove it. Nehaa.Thakur (talk) 02:20, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello! I can see that you have made some corrections on the page for the actress Lubna Salim
Can you please also help out with the pending edit requests on the same page if possible?
Since I am a connected contributor I cannot modify the page directly. Hence reaching out to all the administrators who have edited the page before. If there is any way to do this, please let me know. The page shows there are 200 pending edits from past few days. Sureeli (talk) 05:29, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have been blocked from editing on my laptop "in response to abuse". But I am able to do the editing as a registered user on my mobile. Is it because I am not allowed to edit from two devices? Because otherwise I haven't done any 'abuse' to the best of my knowledge on Wikipedia.
@Seniaric I don't understand. Why are you asking me to improve an article that you can edit yourself? If you want an article improved, just go ahead and improve it. Geniac (talk) 03:01, 22 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I added 'in London' prior to her having 'trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama'. Since the Central School of Speech and Drama is in London (and referenced) it doesn't need any additional 'reference' you seem so keen on. I'm a Londoner and you're obviously not. You're being unnecessarily fussy and I don't think I'll bother in future. Haven't you got anything better to do? 79.76.0.61 (talk) 23:05, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please review new comment on the Paul Denyer talk page to ensure I don't risk upsetting any snowflakes. As you can imagine, we are all beside ourselves with excitement waiting for your opinion as it is so important. I'm am also incredibly sorry my previous comment protesting the disrespect to the victims of this misogynistic serial killer did not pass your filter of acceptable opinions and/or words. If you have any daughters, I would be happy to pass along their contact details to "Mrs." Denyer so they can educate "her" on the correct way to approach women. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Qarnos (talk • contribs) 10:50, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Upcoming film The Kerala Story has neutrality issues. Recently, it was cleanup by User:The Doom Patrol, mostly for WP:VOICE. Still, MOS:FILM structure is not followed and has undue weight on controversy. The film's story is based an actual incident where "four women" from Kerala joined ISIS. There have been 60-70 cases from Kerala. But as per a character from the teaser, about 32,000 have been recruited in the film's universe. That stirred political controversy. I agree numerical accuracy should be discussed, "specifically" about the figure 32,000 with reliable sources and correct attributions, without generalization. But certain editors took advantage on the discrepancy to make blanket statements and to label the film and filmmakers with political allegations, in non-neutral tone. 137.97.105.211 (talk) 20:55, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What exactly was the problem with my edit (this one)? Did I get the wrong language? If so, could you please tell me the right one, or insert it yourself? Kelisi (talk) 04:57, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello , I'm Komal Jha. I tried to merely insert a few Capitol letters. I am new & unaware of how to provide a reliable source for the same. Please help me, Geniac. OriginalSourcesMedia (talk) 02:08, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@OriginalSourcesMedia Welcome to Wikipedia. I understand you are new; I am happy to help.
Regarding the capital letters, please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters; "capitalization is primarily needed for proper names, acronyms, and for the first letter of a sentence". The capital letters you inserted were not any of those things.
File:Komal Jha on the sets of My Dad's Wedding.jpg was deleted on Commons by User:Krd. I tagged it for deletion because there was no proof that the author or copyright holder agreed to license the file under the given license. The copyright holder is welcome to re-upload the image with either a link to proof that they hold the copyright, or by emailing a copy of a written permission to VRT (permissions-commons@wikimedia.org) Geniac (talk) 11:53, 13 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Greetings of the day G,
I think the copyright holder (photographer) , is seeking support from Krd to help him retrieve the image he posted. He sent an email as was asked. Please help him out to retrieve the deleted file.
@OriginalSourcesMedia Good morning, Komal. Nice to hear from you again. Image copyrights are very important on Wikipedia, so it's good to work with the system rather than against it. That's good that the copyright holder is seeking guidance from Krd. I'm sorry, but I can't retrieve the deleted file because I'm not an administrator on Wikimedia Commons, where the file was. And I'm not a member of the Volunteer Response Team (VRT) which reads emails sent to the permissions-commons@wikimedia.org email address. The copyright holder could also contact the VRT for guidance on what to do. If you have a suitable or preferred photo that you have taken of yourself, then you would hold the copyright to that photo, and you are welcome to use Commons:Special:UploadWizard to upload it for use. If you need any other help, feel free to ask. Geniac (talk) 04:47, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The date of birth of Eesha Rebba that I made a correction of was as per her Government Identity Proof. The citations from websites are wrong. Thank you. MeherKilaru (talk) 10:38, 18 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello geniac, I would like to work on career expansion for two of the articles,Navya Nair and Bhavana (actress) which are about Indian Actresses appearing in Malayalam cinema. Although both articles have a large filmography and Bhavana (actress) has extensive references, I personally feel both articles, especially the career section, appear to be short and need expansion. Thank you Arjunsoumithran (talk) 18:16, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, I edited actress Trisha's page because the references were old. She is not a monarch to referred to as the Queen of the entirety of South India like Queen Victoria. I provided a new reference but I forgot to add an edit summary as I was in a hurry. Please reconsider your revert. 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝟐𝟎𝟒𝟖20:30, 25 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see now this second bullet point: "If the month, day and year are missing from an entry for a living individual, please use Category:Year of birth missing (living people)." I missed that. I was doing the opposite. Thanks for pointing this out. Geniac (talk) 08:57, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
HiUser:Geniac, you seem to be confused about the subject regarding Priyaa Lal, I would just like to note that numerous websites have practically stated that she was born in 1st of August 2003, here are some links i found in a short google search. These are just the first three results and i'm sure we can find more if we dig deeper, perhaps this should be enough citation for you to confirm that she was born in the 1st of August 1993, cheers.
