Hello, I want to publish some edits but it is not letting me and saying no stashed content is found and wondered what this meant and how to get rid of it? --SarahHunnings24 (talk) 17:56, 30 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @SarahHunnings24 - I'm not certain for sure, but it might be a problem with the browser window/tab you are using that has been left open for too long. Save the edits elsewhere (eg in a word doc), close all the windows, restart and try to do a sinlge small edit on the piece you are working on. Hi, when looking for things to cite, should I start by looking for places that are already marked as needing a citation, or should I look for places that aren't marked but also need a citation? --PeachRingSword (talk) 03:37, 9 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Arfat Mia was born on 28 Mar 2004 in Bangladesh Pekua. He is an actor and director, known for Chennai Express (2023), Kick (2024) and Ondhokare ... --Arfatmia260 (talk) 14:50, 12 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @SarahHunnings24 in this case, in the pink box at the top of the draft: specifically the draft has been refused because the sourcing is not considered reliable. A quick scan of the sourcing shows multiple references which are self-published or primary (eg Companies House), none of those sources establish notability. I've not looked closely at the other sources, but many appear to be sources which look to be repeating PR, rather than providing independent, in-depth analysis. Hi @Thira(79-80). I can see the draft - this kind of error could be the result of leaving the editing window/tab open for too long. Close your browser (not just the tabs) and reopen to the draft. Try saving a small, simple edit and see if the problem remains. Regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 00:09, 18 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well I slightly mean things that will extend from editing but in the other hand I’m not quite ready to commit to much time to work on big projects that take lots of time, thank you Funny guy 800 (talk) 18:23, 19 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Funny guy 800 - it's hard to identify one area in particular, but what was helpful for me when I first started editing was connecting to editors who shared similar interests. For me that was working around issues related to trade unions, so I became active in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Organized Labour. There's pretty much a project for every broad area of work - some a lot more active than others. You can see a directory of the WikiProjects here: Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Directory. Go to the pages of one of the projects that interests you, there's usually open tasks and also visiting the talk page will give you a chance to see what current editors are doing. Hope that helps, regards, Goldsztajn (talk) 04:58, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Where can I obtain more information on the History of Karmacs village in Zala County of Hungary?
What was there in the 17th, 18th and 19th Centuries? --MDLVJM (talk) 08:59, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Mr G
Thank you for the data you sent me, but none of it is t=relevant to my question about the village of KARMACS in Hungary. --MDLVJM (talk) 09:31, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello,
We have encountered difficulties in submitting our wiki draft due to a few factors. We have emulated the structure of successful wiki articles from our competitors, but our draft has not met the same approval. They have used their own sites as sources, and we have followed suit, only to be informed that our sources lack independence. In light of this, we seek your expert advice. Should we remove these sources or diversify our references?
Monzo and Wise use PR/ sources; other sources are independent as they are not paid advertisements. --SarahHunnings24 (talk) 12:56, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
This entry has a finance section because it is a company, displaying how the organisation gets its funding. This is clear in the other competitor wiki pages, like Monzo and Wise. However, we are unsure if this section is necessary for a company that cannot provide its full accounts due to its funding stage. Could you advise on this? --SarahHunnings24 (talk) 12:56, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Is there any recommendations for source types or places to find them (list of) that are considered more appropriate or will get the article to be approved. --SarahHunnings24 (talk) 12:57, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
