June 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Jupiter. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Jupiter[edit]

Not to sound rude, but when you delete or correct data, especially in featured articles, please do provide clear edit summaries, cite reliable sources, and better start with posting a message on proposed changes at the article talk. Materialscientist (talk) 10:21, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:08, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You made changes to Saturn's magnitude but it contradicts the listed source. If you found a more recent source, please add it. Why did you make that change? EdEColbertLet me know 23:47, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Venus[edit]

Using Horizons, I see that Venus has an apmag of -4.89 as soon as 2013-Dec-08. -- Kheider (talk) 07:47, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

You should explain your edits using edit summaries. Otherwise others may misidentify them as vandalism. Ruslik_Zero 16:22, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

H of DPs[edit]

Hi,

For List of possible dwarf planets, could you add your sources to the articles? You're providing higher precision than our current sources allow. — kwami (talk) 00:44, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Based on past edits, I am fairly sure Hevron is using the JPL database for his numbers. -- Kheider (talk) 13:29, 8 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
