ARBPIA

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The Arbitration Committee has restricted editors with less than 500 edits and 30 days tenure from editing articles in the Arab-Israeli conflict topic area. You can read about this here. Please refrain from editing articles in that topic area until you have qualified to do so. nableezy - 21:39, 26 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nableezy, Thanks for letting me know about the policy. If you look at my edit, you will see that although it may be in an article that could be construed to be about the Arab-Israeli conflict (I would not mind some clarification on that point), that my edit was completely non-controversial. The edit was totally an improvement to make the paragraph make grammatical sense. In the future, until I get 500 edits, I will refrain from editing anything related to the conflict. Regards, Howardlhoffman

Gain Knowledge of Wikipedia and Being an Editor

[edit]

Just wanted to recommend to anyone who wants to be a Wikipedia editor that they read the book: Wikipedia, The Missing Manual, by John Broughton. I am currently reading it for the 2nd time and find it invaluable. Howardlhoffman (talk) 23:56, 3 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
