Reminder on notifying editors[edit]

I've declined your request on the edit warring noticeboard for the reasons set out there. However, I did want to also remind you directly that it's imperative you notify an editor if you've filed something related to their conduct on the edit warring page, or any other admin noticeboard (like ANI).

Please let me know if you have any questions. Best, Lord Roem ~ (talk) 07:50, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not reverse edit again in The Kinks[edit]

User: Mad Hatter's edits in The Kinks are wishful thinking. User has arbitrarily assigned session musicians as members and reassigned members as session musicians with no citations. User has also mislabeled band members in potentially copyrighted image user uploaded. Additionally, User has, with no citations, arbitrarily reassigned band members who have not been members in decades as "current members" despite there being no press conference, release, or statements suggesting reunion or readmission into the band. User's edits are wishful thinking on User's end and should be treated as such.Preservedmoose (talk) 01:25, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

One revert away from the three-revert rule and getting blocked.[edit]

Stop icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to revert edits without discussion, as you did at List of Deep Purple members, you may be blocked from editing. One further revert will trigger Wikipedia's three-revert rule. Please note this policy:

Editors who engage in edit warring are liable to be blocked from editing to prevent further disruption. While any edit warring may lead to sanctions, there is a bright-line rule called the three-revert rule (3RR), the violation of which often leads to a block.

The three-revert rule states:

An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page—whether involving the same or different material—within a 24-hour period. An edit or a series of consecutive edits that undoes other editors' actions—whether in whole or in part—counts as a revert. Violations of the rule often attract blocks of at least 24 hours. Fourth reverts just outside the 24-hour period may also be taken as evidence of edit-warring, especially if repeated or combined with other edit-warring behavior.

This is just a warning, please discus your reasons for reverting here, or at the article's talk page or at my talk page. Thank you.░▒▓ №∶72.234.220.38 (talk) 02:45, 19 June 2020 (UTC) ▓▒░[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:49, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked for sockpuppetry[edit]

Stop icon with clock

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for abusing multiple accounts per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Jimi Henderson. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be revertedordeleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.

If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Dreamy Jazz talk to me | my contributions 11:50, 9 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
