RETIRED PERMANENTLY
This user is no longer active on Wikipedia as of March 2022 I am an individual who has earned multiple journalism degrees, has a new paid off car, my own place in which I live, job where I can work whenever I want and wherever I want. I am very blessed and could be doing many things with my time. And yet, I spent countless hours of my time when I wasn't dealing with my job on this website addressing articles that were a mess of unsourced content, poorly written content to deal with many a kind editors. Occasionally, I came across a troll here or there who did not want to discuss, just flat remove an edit contentiously with a poor edit summary. At a moment's notice when I felt trolled, I let said editors know that I will gladly leave and that usually resolved it because most editors know that losing quality content editors as Wikipedia isn't a good thing for this company's future--a company that relies on free edits and generosity of others. I'm in no passionate dedication to remain here at Wikipedia edit warring back and forth with trolls. Not getting paid, this isn't a job. At a moment's notice, editors choose to be obnoxious, I'm gone. Simple as that. If it's too hard to look at an editor's long list of contributions, give them the respect of discussing before a troll removal or going to a talkpage as User Czello did here [1], bye bye Wikipedia! I don't do games!.
I'll agree the site is really going through a challenging time. Please return even if it's only sporadically. Czello has been on the site for 13 years and knows better than to encourage you to "retire"; it's silly stuff.Pictureperfect2 (talk) 10:37, 28 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
