Point one: You should move the above text to the actual page. Point two: I know people born in Slovakia having Czech names, but HER name was Sklenáriková, simply because that name is used too frequently for a non-existing name (see also google - a SME article etc.). Since nobody translates Czech names into Slovak names, this implies that this is her correct name (otherwise it would not exist). So, unless you have a source saying that she was born with a Czech name and the Slovak name is someone's invention, or that she changes her name, I will revert your change. Hi, Juro, thank You for Your contribution on my site :) Point one: no problem... Point two: Maybe we use another kinds of Google, my Google found name『Adriana Sklenáriková』3x* and name『Adriana Sklenaříková』1130x.*
(4x including reference to Wiki, where You are author) (162 000x without any diacritic)
I am not interesting so much about modeling (and Adriana is not my dream girl), but I heard her name many times in Slovak media and watched her presented in Slovak MISS competition as head of jury, always with "czech" version of her name, so I am sure about that.
You can believe me, I am slovak patriot and have no ambitions to "bohemize" Slovak famous people :) She is not "less Slovak" because her name - same as Pálffy or Hochschorner brothers :) We (Slovak nation) can be really proud for her :) And anyway - in "foreign" world countries just few people know special different between Czech and Slovak pronunciation of Small Glass Maker :)
We can wrangle about her name to one day, when will come the French (or Polynesian) person and will change her name finally to Karembeu :))
It would be easier for me write in Slovak, but I know You prefer english in english Wiki, so I tried. Nice day.
This has nothing to do with national pride or sympathy for her. I, on the other hand, remember her being called Sklenáriková (look at the SME article of 1998, for example), although I must admit that I watch Slovak TV rarely, especially not this kind of broadcasts. I think that she just (officially or inofficially) changed her name when she went to Czechia, but I do not know how to verify it...Juro 02:10, 15 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I got it ! The secret of her name :)
Father of Adriana is Czech, mother is Slovak, they met, when both studied in Prague. Name『Sklenaříková』she had from her birth.
In this SME article is just mistake.
look: http://www.czsk.net/svet/clanky/osobnosti/sklenarova.html
I see, I will change the main article then...Juro 02:42, 15 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Kelovy, You have put a message on my discussion page suggesting to get a bot flag. However, my account and ip-adress have been blocked on the slovak wikipedia, so I cannot make the request. Could you be so kind to put the following text on the request page or tell me where to apply for unblocking? Thijs! 18:03, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
thankyou for adding the Hungarian links. I am currently going through all SLovakian villages. Feel free to help me. My latest entries have the statistics. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 13:28, 14 September 2006 (UTC) see Nižný Lánec for layout.[reply]
Hello, thank You for perfect work, I am surprised and honored that You are interesting for my land. Statistisc are good idea :) I will steal that informations to sk wiki :) --kelovy 14:04, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I greatly appreciate all those hundreds of edits you have made today. Just one suggestion: According to the current conventions[1], we use a comma, not parentheses to disambiguate between two places with the same name. So, the name of an article should be Žiar, Revúca District and not Žiar (Revúca District). Tankred 03:01, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. I have recently developed the slovakian villages so the articles shoud now look like Nováčany. As you go through adding hungarian links (very helpful) please can you remove the category Villages and municipalities in the Kosice region in each article and just keep the district category. E.g Villages and municipalities in Gelnica District. Otherwise the regional category will be too large as I realised with the Banska Bystrica region Ernst Stavro Blofeld 10:15, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nováčany are amazing, thanks a lot :) OK, I will delete regional categories through my interwiki way as You wish :) --kelovy 10:27, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
thankyou your doing a brilliant job mate. well done. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 10:40, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi another thing is I am developed the articles now using a lot of data rather than just basic stubs of location. As you are going through if you like you can add:
at the bottom of every page so when I eventually come back to them I can quickly click on the link and find the relevant info. Thanks Ernst Stavro Blofeld 10:46, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey have a look at my latest slovakian entry Turňa nad Bodvou. This is how a starter article should be really. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 11:28, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi I have just realised how useful you can be. I have started the article on Čečejovce. Please can you translate roughly the history as Slovakia wiki has quite a lot of needed detail. Please let me know Ernst Stavro Blofeld 17:56, 16 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi you are doing an excellent job thankyou very much for adding the links and removing the regional category. It makes my work so much easier. Hey I must be getting better have a look at my article Strážske. This is how I would like all the village entries to be like with pictures - photographs make an enormous difference. Vítaj Kelovy. You added to KG article on SK Wiki, he is Ethnic Hungarian. Surely he is, but user Mt7 reverted that claim several times on his article on EN Wiki. Could you please look at it and comment? Thank you. - Darwinek 13:08, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. My name is Eysteinn and I come from Iceland. I am a big fan of the movie Hostel, and i`m trying to build a quote page on wikiquote on all the different languages used in that movie. Could you take a look at some audio files and tell me if they are in Slovak? I might be confusing it with Slovenia. I think most of the language spoken is Czeck, but I misspelled it as Check on my page http://steinninn.is/hostel/ If you know what they are saying, please, could you translate it. Thanks --Steinninn 16:49, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I hope you don`t mind that I put the other languages in there to use later on some other userpage. Thanks --Steinninn 12:53, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You might be interested in checking out the brand new Wikipedia:Slovak Wikipedians' notice board. All Wikipedians interested in Slovakia or subjects somehow related to Slovakia are invited to use this noticeboard as a tool for better organizing their activities, making announcements to others with similar interests, and discussing any actual issues related to their work on Wikipedia. You are welcome to add this notice board to your watchlist, so that you could see when it is updated and thus take part in any projects, initiatives, and improvements relating to articles about Slovakia. Also, you are welcome to report your own articles here so they could be peer-reviewed and expanded by other contributors. Tankred 15:59, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed you created the Slovak inter-language links for the West Bromwich Albion category pages. I was wondering if you have any additional information on Igor Bališ? I'm surprised that he doesn't appear to have a page on the Slovak Wikipedia. Cheers. --Jameboy 12:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! As you might have already noticed, I was banned from the Slovak Wikipedia first for 2 hours (by Bronto for threatening) and then for 6 months (by Bubamara for threatening+ill mouth). What do you think about that ban? Do you think I deserved the hostility all the time from the beginning? CoolKoon (talk) 17:31, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As I see You like to use profanities in discussion pages... I greatly appreciate that now it is only in abbrevation form and You didnt attack me... but is there some chance to reduce that in the future ? What is worse, You like to "play with true", I read You recent post in Elonka discussion... Now it is obvious, Your ban in sk wiki was sophistically prepared by Yourself.
You know that I liked to read Your communication with Mark and strongly opossed stop chat templates. But Your last contribution in that discussion was simply inadequate, You received right short ban from Aton. What You did after two hours I dont have to mention again...
About Huňady and Baťán - every language has its own names for historical personalities (including Hungarian), our are regulated by Slovak Language Institute. Yes, it is possible that sometimes the name was made by less accurate way, but (American) Indians also never lived in India.
If You will change dark sides of Your behaviour, I have no problem to unblock You, there is no doubt about Your intelligency and knowledge. First condition is to stop Your preteding to be Hungarian martyr, victim of malicous chauvinists of Slovak wikipedia. Szia--kelovy (talk) 11:33, 19 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Kelovy, I'm contacting you because we need some Slovakian translators to help with the deployment of the new VisualEditor on sk.wikipedia. There are help pages, user guides, and description pages that need translating, as well as the interface itself. The translating work is going on over on MediaWiki: Translation Central. I also need help with a personal message for the Slovakian Wikipedians. If you are able to help in any way, either reply here, or head over to TranslationCentral. Thanks for your time, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 16:27, 26 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
