French council[edit]

Go ahead and switch it back. Apologies. Neutralitytalk 05:40, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Soham Murders move[edit]

Why did you deem it necessary to move this page, without any form of consultation over the redirect. The page was moved from that page as it is out of sync with other titles. Can you please do one of two things: Revert your unilateral decision or start a discussion and revert your unilateral decision.--17:39, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

I have reverted your unilateral move. Now you only have one option; start a discussion.--Lucy-marie (talk) 17:43, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well apparently I was right… Keriluamox (talk) 15:53, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Tip about 'lang' templates[edit]

Thanks very much for your contributions on French topics. Here's a tip that may save you some time: I see you're familiar with the {{lang}}-series of templates, such as {{lang-fr}}. For example in this edit, where you added:

adding the |label=none to suppress the "French:" prefix that would have been supplied without it. But you don't need to do this. All of the {{lang-xx}} templates are accompanied by a sister template {{lang|xx}}, so you can instead just code this:

without the |label=none, and get the same result you originally wanted. I generally use {{lang-fr}} only for whatever the first French expression is in the article (or first in section, if the article is long), and {{lang|fr}} for all the rest of them. Hope this helps! Mathglot (talk) 23:36, 16 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, thanks a lot. I have a keyboard shortcut anyway, but this will save time indeed. Have a nice day! Keriluamox (talk) 08:36, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:21, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hello, Keriluamox. Thank you for your work on Ministry of the Economy and Finance building. Chanakal, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Some sections such in Buildings section, Sully Building need to be sourced.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Chanakal}}. Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Chanaka L (talk) 15:13, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Chanakal: Thanks! Seriously though, this two-sentence section is perfectly trivial, I don’t think any inline citation makes sense. If you feel any element elsewhere in the article should be specifically backed up, I still have the sources at hand and I could have a look, however. Keriluamox (talk) 15:27, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Have a look at WP:INDISCRIMINATE, I think if it is trivia, it shouldn't be included. Other editors might add citation needed tags to unsourced sections. Other areas of the article are fine. Cheers Chanaka L (talk) 15:38, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I meant trivial in the sense that it is noncontroversial and drawn from the general sources, and would be drawn from every other source. More precise information about each building can be added later, with precise citations; these are just the basics. Keriluamox (talk) 15:44, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Then those sections can sourced from the said references, right? For example, have a look at Fiat 804, the article I just reviewed. Every section and every sentence is sourced. No one can add citation needed tags anywhere in that article. Hope you can my point. Cheers Chanaka L (talk) 15:53, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
