if you really have to, you can leave me a message here. otherwise, try to find me on some other website.

before you write here[edit]

From an interview with 2channel founder:

Q: Why did you decide to use perfect anonymity, not even requiring a user name?
A: ... Moreover, people can only truly discuss something when they don't know each other. If there is a user ID attached to a user, a discussion tends to become a criticizing game. On the other hand, under the anonymous system, even though your opinion/information is criticized, you don't know with whom to be upset. Also with a user ID, those who participate in the site for a long time tend to have authority, and it becomes difficult for a user to disagree with them. Under a perfectly anonymous system, you can say, "it's boring," if it is actually boring. All information is treated equally; only an accurate argument will work.

I think that Wikipedia would be a much better place if it was 100% anonymous. People would waste much less energy on arguing, and more on contributing.

I would really appreciate people not leaving me messages here, as I don't want to login again, but want to edit anonymously. Thank you. Lakinekaki (talk) 00:32, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

MfD nomination of Wikipedia:NOMORE[edit]

Wikipedia:NOMORE, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:NOMORE and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:NOMORE during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. NJGW (talk) 08:17, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
