Hi Kadzi we are the creators of this page and would be happy for it to be deleted. The information on Omajowa can be found on the Termitomyces Schimperi page as omajowa is the layman name for this species. Is there any way in which we can include the layman name next to the species name in the title of the page ie merge the pages? Or should we rather duplicate the information on both pages?(MBA FT Group 5 (talk) 12:05, 7 August 2013 (UTC))[reply]
The article Omajowa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Kadzi (talk) 11:08, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Please delete this page we have have moved the content (MBA FT Group 5 (talk) 14:38, 7 August 2013 (UTC))[reply]
Hi, I reverted your edit at Termitomyces, and moved Termitomyces schimperi (Omajowa) to Termitomyces schimperi because it is not necessary or needed to title a page with both the scientific and common names. Plus, if it does become necessary to title a page with both the common and scientific name, one should only use the singular form, not the plural form.--Mr Fink (talk) 15:49, 7 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Fink,
Thank you for your feedback, but then it is better to use the Laymans Name of Omajowa for the page, as the people searching for the article will always search for Omajova and not for the scientific name.
