March 2013[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Rialto (band) has been reverted.
Your edit heretoRialto (band) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCblncsE8wQ&feature=youtu.be) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 11:28, 4 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. April 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Meters. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Scoville scale have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Your edit not only contradicted the existing text, but it contradicted your own edit summary. Please explain on the talk page . Meters (talk) 04:15, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hmm, I see what you are getting at with the ppm, but your edit summary was very confusing, and your edit wrt pungency units is just wrong (you multiplied by 16 to get Scoville units). Meters (talk) 04:27, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Scoville scale, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. The cited source clearly says 15, not 16. What is your reliable source for claiming, yet again, that it should be 16? And WP:BRD means discuss it on the talk page and wait for consensus, not immediately make your unsourced change again. Disambiguation link notification for June 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited De La Rue, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Debden (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Marines[edit]

I see that you have changed the word "Marines" to "marines" several times in the Fragging article. You are a braver man than I am. Best wishes. Smallchief (talk) 00:27, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The word marine is just a normal word like soldier. It should only be capitalised when you are talking about something specific, like the "XYZ Marine Corps". I have noticed a tendency over the past few years for people to add capitals more and more to words which are not proper nouns. Marchino61 (talk) 02:11, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
