Hi, Please learn correct citation style. We don't put links directly from the text to the outside. Wikipedia:Citing sources is a place to start, but also you can check how other editors do it. Even when you move the links to the correct place, you should give more than a raw url as they always disappear eventually. Give an author, if possible, title, name of publication, date, so that dead links can be refreshed later. Incidentally, INN is not considered a reliable source for information about settlements so you should replace it. I will leave what you wrote at Migdal Oz for now to give you the chance to fix it, but fixing it is essential. Zerotalk 00:21, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also, you marked your edits as "minor" but they are not. See Help:minor edits. Zerotalk 00:22, 18 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You are still marking edits as minor when they are not minor. Please stop. Zerotalk 13:14, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello. I saw you amended some of the text, and sourced it to the village website. However, the village website says that its text is sourced from Wikipedia, so it cannot be used as a reference. The Hebrew wiki article is very well referenced, so I would advise translating from there instead. Cheers, Number 57 22:26, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your contributions to Burial Stone. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources and it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 07:53, 31 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Owenglyndur! Having an article draft declined at Articles for Creation can be disappointing. If you are wondering why your article submission was declined, please post a question at the Articles for creation help desk. If you have any other questions about your editing experience, we'd love to help you at the Teahouse, a friendly space on Wikipedia where experienced editors lend a hand to help new editors like yourself! See you there! DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:36, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply] |
Hi, I noticed that you're translating articles from he.wiki, which is great. Most of them are probably okay, but just bear in mind that articles need to pass our (en.wiki) requirements for referencing, notability, etc. In other words, merely existing in another language version of Wikipedia is not enough to justify inclusion in another version, as each version is an entirely separate project with their own rules and requirements (and, AFAIK at least, en.wiki is probably the strictest in that sense). Best, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 07:43, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your contributions to Hovlata. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources and it's a text dump of a Google translation of a Hebrew Wikipedia article. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Wikishovel (talk) 08:38, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I moved "Roman roads in Judaea/Palaestina" to Roman roads in Judaea and created a redirect from "Roman roads in Palaestina". The article looks like it is mainly about Judaea and that tile is concise and easier for the reader. Cheers. Hello! Your submission of Roman roads in Judaea at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) at your nomination's entry and respond there at your earliest convenience. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! Z1720 (talk) 13:59, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 17:59, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Owenglyndur, thank you for taking the time to work on the article about Roman roads in Judaea. It's an interesting topic which should be covered in Wikipedia. I have documented some issues with the sourcing on the talk page, would you be able to address them? Richard Nevell (talk) 19:49, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Owenglyndur! Your additions to Ein Gedi synagogue have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright and plagiarism issues. Here are the key points:
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices. Persistent failure to comply may result in being blocked from editing. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Richard Nevell (talk) 19:37, 4 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is now evidently some level of copyright violation in Deir ed Darb. If I find more evidence of copyright violations, I will look into opening an investigation. Richard Nevell (talk) 22:26, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

AtTalk:Palestinians, you have been given the opportunity to respond to your slow edit warring without supplying appropriate sourcing in support of your personal opinions. This is disruptive POV pushing. I suggest you reconsider your approach or we will be debating this in another place. Selfstudier (talk) 14:44, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Khirbet Kelafa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nominationbyvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 16:28, 17 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Request reason:
Hi, I am requesting to be unblocked, I understand the mistakes I have made violating copyright policy. I took the last few days to better learn and understand Wikipedia's copyright policy. I created some articles in Hebrew reaching 0.0% at the Copyvio Detector and I am sure I can do the same in English, never violating Wikipedia's policy again.Owenglyndur (talk) 07:49, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Decline reason:
We need you to demonstrate your understanding, not just tell us that you understand. Please tell us how your prior edits were copyright violations, what copyright is, and how to properly use copyrighted content on Wikipedia. 331dot (talk) 08:13, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
331dot - I understand that in articles I have written before I used texts copied from the sources I provided, which violates Wikipedia's policy. The text I copied and presented in the article was published on Wikipedia without the permission of the copyright holder. Furthermore, I translated some texts word for word, which also violates Wikipedia's policy. I know that even using texts that were very slightly changed or altered, violates Wikipedia's policy. The same goes for texts that remain close, similar or might be linguistically resembling the source or sources on which I based the article also violates Wikipedia's policy. I know that all the text I write and text I translate from any source, must be done using my own words. As I pointed out in my request to remove the block, articles I created lately, have zero percentage of copyright violation. Owenglyndur (talk) 12:37, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
