Request reason:

I am an experienced user in good standing. Please unblock my IP address. Prcc27 (talk) 21:15, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

The only block I see that might have affected you is only on a handful of talk pages, and you seem to have switched IPs to get around the one page among those you've ever edited, so I don't see any reason to modify that block. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 22:26, 30 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Threshold for third party candidates, 2024 United States presidential election

[edit]

I read the RfC on the criteria for including third party candidates, and I honestly do not see that there have a clear and solid consensus on this matter, mainly regarding the minimum percentage in the polls that a candidate must have to be included in the infobox. On this particular point, I believe that the discussion and the time to discuss it was short, and that the interventions that were made were a bit confusing, as some did not quite decide between 5% and 10%.

Honestly, I think 5% is too low a threshold. Third party candidates tend to be above 5% in the months leading up to the election and drop off as election day approaches. A very clear example was candidate Gary Johnson in 2016. In the months leading up to the election polls consistently showed him above 5%, there were even several polls that had him above 10%. However, Gary Johnson only received 3% of the vote. So I think this issue should be further explored and discussed.

In my personal opinion, I believe the threshold should be 15%, the same threshold that the Commission on Presidential Debates imposes on third party candidates in order for them to participate in debates. Esterau16 (talk) 19:57, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Esterau16: If you feel the RfC was not closed properly, you are welcome to go to the closer’s talk page and/or request a review of the close. See WP:CLOSECHALLENGE. Prcc27 (talk) 01:13, 13 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Presidential Debate Table Removal

WP:NOTCENSORED and what is means to me

[edit]

Hello,

I think I understand you spirit of this rule, and I'm 100% fine with this. It's just that I don't see it as an proactive guideline. Sure, stuff can be objectionable to some or even to most, but it doesn't HAVE to be.

To the example of Foreskin restoration, even in my version of the article there where 4 full frontal male genitalia. I only meant to rearrange them so that the most explicit one will become part of the embd:og card when embedding into other site.

To me SFW, means just that Safe For Work. Nothing else. Safe for a random person to see while in a mixed or uncontrolled environment.

Anyway, thanks for all the great work Refael Ackermann (talk) 21:40, 12 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
