ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, Ram-Man. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.

Licencing

[edit]

Your licencing campaign is really well thought-out and reasoned. I am a newer editor with few edits, but you have my support! (If you want my licencing list it is here. Rorix the White (talk)

Hello Ram-Man, I am doing a wetland interpretive display and wondered if I could us your image as reference for a digital drawing I am doing for it, please. It's a great image

Is it alright if I reuse photo RR72.18.1A Saddle-tank No. 1251 Front Side.jpg for a new Wikipedia page I am making? If no, then I can just use one of the others. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Someone who likes train writing (talkcontribs) 17:06, July 30, 2021 (UTC)

Thank you!

The page Wilmington, Illinois (disambiguation) has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it was an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguated only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ended in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguated zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • was a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that did not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, you may contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you may open a discussion at Wikipedia:Deletion review. – robertsky (talk) 13:48, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
