Topics?[edit]

Hi! Please put up 2 or 3 page ideas (either here or on your user page main space) that you would like to start working on, along with a short justification for why they deserve your hard work. Thanks! Daclausen (talk) 15:20, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ideally, I'd love to start working on topics falling under natural sciences. Topics about water and soils especially capture my interest. The actual water page could use some care and attention, as it hasn't been listed as a good page since 2007. Considering that water is one of the most important substances on this planet, I think it's Wikipedia page should reflect that. Some stubs underneath these topics include Raw Water, Hydrophobic Soil, Shrink-Swell Capacity, Water Cycle Management, and Maximum Residue Limit. They deserve my attention because the topics that they cover are important to water and soil science, and I know that there is more information out there that could be added. Hello! You have very interesting topics, personally I think you could edit more specific topics in those general topics, like stubs beneath stubs. Natural Science as a 100% factual subject is probably best cited with known authors. I think the best way to start is to find a specific scientist who is credible and start editing base on his published work and research. Good Luck! Yihengsong (talk) 19:27, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I think the natural sciences would be a good topic as there has been a renewed interest in the environment and conservation in the public. Especially the water page since we have recently found water on Mars. Also, as it's a factual subject it would be very easy to find sources but it may be hard to find the specific information that's missing on the page. That's the only problem I see you facing, but if it's interesting enough and there is enough room for your edits then by all means go forth with your topic. You made a good case for it. -Matthew

It seems you are very interested in your topics so it should make for a productive time whenever you do start on it. All your topics are factual so that should add to the ease of your work. I wonder if there is any water related topic that is prevalent right now in terms of current events. Phu445 (talk) 9:39, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
