You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Digital Computer Controls, Inc. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nominationbyvisiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. noq (talk) 21:39, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DCC was a noteworthy company for creating computers in the 1970s that significantly undercut pricing of the major computer companies at the time. I plan to update with more details ShadyCrack (talk) 22:15, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Planning to update further

[edit]

I am planning to update this Wikipedia on DCC further. I didn’t have time to flesh it out today. ShadyCrack (talk) 22:11, 9 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Digital Computer Controls, Inc. moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Digital Computer Controls, Inc., is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. kB vs KB in storage articles

[edit]

You may not be aware that the usage of conventional binary prefixes, that is K, M, G, etc, as powers of two did not begin in storage until the 1980s so that HDDs and FDDs prior to that date had their capacities expressed either in digits with no prefixes or used IEC decimal prefixes. that is, k, M, G, etc. So please be careful when you convert kB to KB, in many cases the prior editors had carefully determined and used prefixes consistent with historical usage. Tom94022 (talk) 01:35, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@Tom94022: Yes, thank you for clarifying use. I now have a better appreciation for kB vs KB. There are inconsistencies and potentially incorrect info across the three floppy pages so trying to help clean up some of this. ShadyCrack (talk) 02:11, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Four-Phase Systems

[edit]

Thanks for your edits to Four-Phase Systems. However, when I read "The former location of the original business, 10420 N Tantau Ave, is now Infinite Loop." and realized that Tantau Ave is about 2 mile across town where Apple Park is now. I recall seeing the company on N De Anza Blvd. If you have a source citing this address for the company, would you please share it? 16:51, 11 May 2022 (UTC)Johnlogic (talk)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited IBM 5110, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page KB. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
