Hi, unfortunately I've had to fail your GA nomination of IBM and unions due to not responding to suggestions in a timely manner. According to the GA instructions, it is customary for an article to be put on hold for 7 days to address feedback. Your nomination has been on hold for five weeks and still there are outstanding issues. In these last few weeks, I have pinged you multiple times on your Talk page and on the nomination page. I explained to you why this is important: that if too much time passes between iterations, I have to re-read all the sources and the article to verify changes, which effectively means I have to do the review multiple times. I am sorry if you had off-wiki circumstances that prevented you from responding, but since you are still editing elsewhere on the site, I have to believe you could have let me know and we could have worked it out. Additionally, I don't appreciate that you criticized how long it took me to complete the review (about 7 days) but it's been more than twice that since your last reply. So, you are welcome to renominate the article when you do have the time to appropriately address feedback, and I hope the work that has already been done so far is helpful to you and the future reviewer. Thanks, Mokadoshi (talk) 06:24, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Mokadoshi thank you for your feedback, and also generosity in reviewing it, and I apologise I didn't reciprocate ideally in my behaviour. The article has improved since with your review, and while (due to my own failing) hasn't reached GA status, it is in a better state now, which I consider to be a positive step forward. Thank you! ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 10:20, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The page incorrectly mentioned UCLA used a triangle-and-two defense in the national semifinal against Houston. Actually, it was a diamond-and-one. John Wooden wrote, “(Lynn Shackelford was) assigned to Hayes as the chaser in the diamon and one. His sole assignment was Hayes” (“They Call Me Coach,” p. 155).
There is much more said about the defense, which was quite fascinating, but this correctly states the defense. --Full Court Zone Press (talk) 05:22, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Third reason in WP:TFD#REASONS says to delete when a template has no likelihood of being used. Three years is not a long time; similar templates have been populated over time. Many of the structured templates I created in Category:Diplomatic missions by receiving country started off as bare-bone/transclusionless and now have increased usage. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 19:44, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey @Shushugah! Got an email saying you're my mentor (as I assume also did many others on this talk page?). Nice to meet, very excited to present this goat 🐐 (Her name is Pzizah. Take good care of her).
Is there a way to send private messages? This isn't really my main question.
It's a challenge to decide what to focus on, since the vast amount of knowledge here can get overwhelming. I like to explore both historical and contemporary entertainment, and I found that citations for contemporary artists is very challenging. What are some resources can you recommend for fact checking?
Also would love to hear what are some pitfalls to avoid as a novice editor.
Lovely to meet Pzizah! I enclosed some helpful links on your talk page at User talk:AristoShmon. One of my favorite resources for finding quality sources is WP:LIBRARY which is only available for editors with at least 500 edits, but that can be an internal goal. For contemporary artists, I definitely think there's sometimes a tension with WP:TOOSOON and or WP:PROMO which leads to more puff pieces being used, instead of scholarly/analytical sources. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 17:38, 17 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft in User:Calvin Mills should be moved to User:Calvin Mills/sandbox, but even so, your draft will not be published as is, because it needs to establish WP:Notability according to Wikipedia's internal policy standards. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 05:47, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
