November 2015[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edittoProgram music may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Why not create a user page?[edit]

Hi friend,

Your user page has a name like this: User:Example. (This link is to yours.) Its normal use is to give basic information, if you wish, about yourself or your Wikimedia-related activities. You don't have to say anything about yourself. You may also wish to create a user page on Meta that will display on all Wikimedia projects where you have not created a local user page.

August 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Tim Krul, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:42, 26 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

HiMattythewhite, I didn't cite a source since it's in a info box. Isn't it weird to have citations there? Anyway, here's a source that he played in five games for Brighton and Hove in 17-18: https://www.football-lineups.com/footballer/4053_Tim_Krul/. Also, the 17-18 season Wikipedia page for Brighton and Hove has him down for five appearances. I don't think you can cite one Wikipedia article in another, but that's more evidence that I'm right, yes?

Also, I'm not great with User Talk pages, so sorry if this is the wrong format. Update: Just realized my mistake: those tables are for Domestic league appearances only, not Cups. My bad.

Use of Permalinks for linking to Founders.archives.gov[edit]

Sportzak,

I just changed the link to founders.archives.gov for the edit you made linking to Ben Franklin's first Silence Dogood letter from April of 1722.

And so I changed the search results link which was this:

https://founders.archives.gov/?q=Project%3A%22Franklin%20Papers%22&s=1511311111&r=8%7C

to the permalink which is this:

https://founders.archives.gov/documents/Franklin/01-01-02-0008

The issue is that although the search results links initially work as more documents are added to founders.archives.gov over time the search result link can then point to a different document.

In this case the eighth result from the Franklin Papers collection could over time be something different than Ben Franklin's first Silence Dogood letter.

So I've just been checking every few weeks for additional search result links, and then changing them to the permalinks.

Thanks so much Jjjjjjjjjj. Appreciate the edit! -Sportzak (talk) 19:47, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:41, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please preview your edits[edit]

Please preview your edits, you've now wasted my time twice. Your edit says "in addition to her 1Grammy Awards" – not 13 or 19 or actually any valid number. Aza24 (talk) 16:32, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the clarification. Must have been rushing when making that change yesterday. Sportzak (talk) 21:03, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
