Proposal for microformats for non-terrestrial coordinates[edit]

Please see my proposal for coordinates for lunar, Martian and other non-terrestrial coordinates - this proposal is already implemented in Swignition. Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing); Andy's talk; Andy's edits 16:11, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but I'm not sure about what a microformat is. My intention, creating those templates was imitate Geo coordinates for being possible create a database similar to the one is today using Google Earth or Google Maps linking to Wikipedia's Earth articles. But my problem is that... I have no knowledge in programming. Does the code used in articles need changes? You have written in {{Moon}} and {{Coor Mars}} templates, but the most interesting one is {{Sky}}. Telescopi (talk) 17:06, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
See microformat!{{Coord}} emits a geo microformat for WSG84 coordinates. I'm suggesting that your new Moon/ Mars templates could do the same, for their respective reference systems. I think {{sky}} would be more complex, because there is no corresponding microformat or microformat extension - though one could be written. TFD notice[edit]

Two coordinate templates being proposed for merger here. Thanks. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 12:56, 18 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion closed as delete, since {{coord}} is able to generate the coordinates. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 00:20, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
