Like I say, don't let the "boo birds" deter you from contributing. A lot of the comments in AfD are brutal, and I'm as guilty of that as anyone else. On the other hand, the experience of getting booed off the stage inspired me to come back and defend other people's articles, to suggest improvement where it could be done, and to be (directly) impolite only if someone else threw the first punch. I apologize if I said anything ruder than usual. Sometimes it makes me mad, and then I have to remind myself that I'm letting someone I don't know aggravate me. There was one guy from Australia who pissed me off, and then I thought-- wait a second, he's in Australia, on the other side of the planet, and he's pissing me off? Pretty cool.
