February 2010

[edit]

About your addition of the statement for Pear leaf to the European Pear page: I'm suspect that you are joshing as I cannot find any substantiation for this. If you are serious, then please give a good citation about where the information came from. Thank you. Nadiatalent (talk) 22:05, 27 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'll follow those links that you suggest and see what I can put into that page. It seems to need a whole new section about other uses of the tree, but that will require some serious work that I don't have time for today. Best wishes, Nadiatalent (talk) 14:14, 28 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Moraingy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Reunion (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Comorian independence referendum

[edit]

The definitions in French are irrelevant for the English name of the article. Reliable English sources describe the event as a referendum - see for example the United Nations, the Library of CongressAfrica South of the Sahara 2004 and even Radio France International. Number 57 18:16, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Vincent. Unfortunately the paragraph you added doesn't make sense. Specifically:
  • "In case of referendum instead of consultation, all the Comoros should be independant 5 years after." - Do you mean that if it was a referendum instead of a consultation, the Islands would have been independent five years later?
  • "The french gouvernment decide to apply litterally the french constitution, so, Mayotte having to remain under French control." Again, what does this mean? What does the constitution say?
Do you have a source for any of this? Number 57 17:18, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have expanded the article based on the English source you gave me - I hope this is ok? No need to apologise for your English - you are certainly more proficient in a foreign language than I am! Number 57 22:24, 26 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
