Welcome!

Hello, Vuvuzela2010, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Juanm (talk) 06:26, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions. Please remember to mark your edits, such as your recent edits to United Nations, as "minor" only if they truly are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes, or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. ~ AdvertAdam talk 09:00, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Libya. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ~ AdvertAdam talk 09:09, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Jenny

[edit]

Come on now... Why did you use say Rebecca rather than Jenny - WP:COMMONNAME. I'll use a quote Jenny said to Doug. "You know what Doug, what is the point" - We've had the Jenny discussion so many times, so I agree with her..Rain the 1 03:27, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, I didnt realise it applied to that paragraph (since it was after Jenny's real name was revealed). I should have been paying more attention, and it wont happen again. Anyway, Happy New Year! Vuvuzela2010 (talk) 04:04, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Oh Vuvu, I sounded like a right new year groach didn't I. It's just the Jenny/Bex/Rebeca Massey thing that drove me crazy in 2011, thought it was going to first to bite in 2012 too. Lol.. Happy New Year to you too and I hope it was good. :)Rain the 1 04:20, 1 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

TV screenshots are copyrighted so please do not upload these to Wikimedia Commons. There might be a case for uploading them as non-free content, since such an image could pass the non-free content criteria, however to do that please upload the image direct to the English Wikipedia. CT Cooper · talk 12:58, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for the late reply (been in Sweden), so now I've uploaded it to Wikipedia rather than the Commons, what happens now? Obviously I want to wait for a green light before readding the image to any articles. Vuvuzela2010 (talk) 22:10, 9 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have beefed up the fair use rationale, so it should be okay now. CT Cooper · talk 12:59, 11 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Eurovision 2009 Armenia voting.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Eurovision 2009 Armenia voting.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 00:29, 10 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

March 2012

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Eurovision Song Contest 2004, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
