Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Yuanfangdelang! I'm CordeliaNaismith (talk), another Wikipedian. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! How to do redirects

[edit]

Hi! In order to do redirects, click on the "#R" tab on top of the page in edit mode. For example, if I wanted to redirect to the article on George Washington, the redirect page would look like this:

#REDIRECT [[George Washington]]

Hope this helps. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 02:38, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Random threshold variable has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a dictionary.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 06:11, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Functionalized general trichotomic regression analysis - R implementation ?

[edit]

Hi there,

I just noticed the article you are putting together, and wondered if you have some R implementation of it.

Good luck with keeping the article alive,

Talgalili (talk) 21:02, 21 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Talgalili,

I am sorry I have no R implementation. I did the FGTRA in SAS in interactive mode. I hope this article can be kept in wiki since this is a new methodology in Statistics.

I removed the "delete article" tag from Threshold_in_piecewise_regression_analysis

[edit]

Hi there, I removed the tag that someone else put on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Threshold_in_piecewise_regression_analysis

But, I believe the article needs a bit more attention. And encourage you to see if you can extend it.

All the best, and thank you for sharing your knowledge with me and everyone else :)
