Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. So far every image I spot-checked is quite clearly identified with "what it is" and either there is an existing WP article specifically about it or at least one associated (and often a commons cat of related images). PRODing Images

[edit]

Hi there. I was reviewing some of the PRODed images you have tagged for deletion and wanted to ask if you were familiar with Wikimedia Commons? Many of the images you have tagged are of low quality, possible copyright violations, or otherwise not worth keeping (and I will be deleting some of the images where the PROD tag has expired) but some of the tagged images appear to have general educational value (even if not used on Wikipedia currently) which would make them good candidates for transfer to Commons rather than wholesale deletion (for some of your tags I have already declined the PROD and tagged them for transfer to the Commons). In general if an image has plausible education value we would like to transfer them to Commons rather than just deleting them. Let me know if you have any questions, thanks! Stop icon It seems that you are running unapproved scripts on Wikipedia. Per Wikipedia's bot policy, the use of unapproved bots or approved bots out of their approved conditions may result in blocking of both your account and the bot account in question. DMacks (talk) 04:41, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As I said before (and now Mifter reiterates), you need to slow down and actually look at each picture and read its name and description, not look for and blindly act on a bot-added tag. Consider this a formal administrative warning. DMacks (talk) 04:43, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
