Victoria Catlin (née Shechter, September 23, 1952 – February 28, 2024) was an American actress best known for her roles as Blackie O'ReillyinTwin Peaks, Ellen Forrest in Maniac Cop, Dr. Catherine Peake in Howling V: The Rebirth, and Anastasia in Ghoulies.[1][2][3][4]

Life and career[edit]

Victoria Shechter was born in Moline, Illinois on September 23, 1952.[1] She was best known for her roles as Blackie O'Reilly,[5][6] the madam of One-Eyed Jacks, in Twin Peaks,[6][7][8] Ellen Forrest (wife of Bruce Campbell's character) in Maniac Cop,[9][10][11] Dr. Catherine Peake in Howling V: The Rebirth, and Anastasia in Ghoulies.[4][1] She was also in Mutant on the Bounty.[3]

Catlin additionally appeared in the films Slow Burn and Maid to Order, and in the TV shows Amazing Stories and Adam-12.[2][12][3]

Catlin died on February 28, 2024, at the age of 71.[13]
