Villareal, officially the Municipality of Villareal (Waray: Bungto han Villareal; Tagalog: Bayan ng Villareal), is a 4th class municipality in the provinceofSamar, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 27,394 people.[3]
Villareal is politically subdivided into 38 barangays. Each barangay consists of puroks and some have sitios.
